Quality Assurance Manager

As a Quality Assurance Manager you are responsible for quality optimization with regards to IT landscaping throughout the entire organization. BearingPoint Caribbean helps governments improve their business processes. Our solutions are based on four fundamental areas of the government: tax, social security, licensing and collection. We leverage the Be Informed business process platform to support these knowledge-intensive organizations in their increasingly complex administrations.

In this position you make sure legal criteria are being met and therefore are capable to enhance various IT delivery processes. As an Quality Assurance Manager you will position yourself as a sounding board for the relevant process owners. Furthermore you will initiate and follow up enhancement processes. In addition it’s important for you to consider things completed, only and after the desired level has been reached! You will be working on updating the various products and / or processes in the field of legislation, quality standards and the development of our Solutions. You will do this both internally and externally with our customers. You will formulate the quality criteria and optimize, secure, maintain and implement these onto our quality management systems. You guarantee the quality of our products by outlining specifications and setting the right standards and control systems. Thus you will take part in full (development) projects in which you can have both a driving and executive role. You will maintain close contacts with the various parties involved, in order to achieve the best results.

You are expected to...

  • Design, monitor, analyze and report QA metrics to generate insights regarding our product portfolio and our generated service,
  • Continuously improve our test strategies and QA processes, in cooperation with the Test Team Lead,
  • Managing, coordinating and follow-up on the implementation of QA-processes during spring and recycle processes (in an Agile environment)
  • Continuously seek the right balance between speed and risk factors regarding the development and implementation of our solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters ‘degree in Informatics, software engineering, computer science or any other relevant study,
  • At least 8 years’ working experience in a similar position,
  • Experience with the development and professionalization of QA and test management processes,
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of QA and test management processes within an Agile -oriented environment,
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both towards technical and non-technical stakeholders.
